Experience music through movement, develop physical and social skills, and stimulate creativity and imagination with us! Increase listening, observation, and recall skills, all while improving coordination, flexibility, and spacial intelligence. Ballet is the base, but before students can execute ballet in its technical form, there are many building blocks that are introduced at this stage of their development. Before you can read a book, you must first learn the alphabet!

CLASSES WE OFFER

BALLET 1

7–9 years old

With two recommended 75-minute classes per week, this beginner ballet class is designed to introduce the standard class structure of barre and center work. Students will learn basic steps, positions, and vocabulary with emphasis placed on discipline, musicality, and technique. The objective of this class is to provide a rudimentary foundation for basic ballet.

Pricing: $517 (one class), $904 (two classes)

There is one non-refundable $65 registration fee per family due annually.

DANCE FUNDAMENTALS

3–5 years old

For the child always dancing around to music at home! In our Dance FUNdamentals class your child will grow their love for dance in a fun environment with new friends and a nurturing teacher. Rhythm, musicality, spacial intelligence, creativity, and flexibility are only a few things that will be covered in our Dance FUNdamentals class. BALLET 2

What's This?

9+ years old

First year Ballet 2- recommended two classes per week.

Second year Ballet 2- recommended three classes per week, with 4th class added second semester.

Students will continue working on basic positions and steps, while expanding their knowledge of vocabulary and their technical abilities. This intermediate level is an important building block for students as they progress to more challenging levels, and adding a Contemporary class (on Mondays) is recommended for a student's second year. Students wishing to enter into Ballet 3 must have two consecutive semesters of three ballet classes per week.

Monday-Contemporary, 7:00–7:45pm
Saturday-Ballet, 9:30–11:00am

Tuesday-Stretch/Strength 6:00-7pm (Optional for Second year Ballet 2 students)

INTRO TO BALLET

6-8 years old

A beginner class that introduces the basics of ballet through simple positions, steps, and vocabulary. Students build coordination, balance, and musicality with fun, age-appropriate exercises and imaginative activities, while developing the focus and skills needed for Ballet 1 training.

Saturday 10:30–11:30am

Pricing: $272 (nine-week session), $497 (eighteen-week session)
