The Nutcracker Jazzed Up
November 27th-December 13th
We are very excited to begin rehearsing for this years production of
The Nutcracker Jazzed Up. Performances will run for three weekends with one show Thursday
evenings (with the exception of Thanksgiving), one show Friday evenings, and two
shows Saturdays and Sundays. Ballet 4 and up please remember to check
the Google Calendar weekly for the rehearsal schedule.
Int/Advanced Ballet Open Classes
Monday and Friday 9:30am-11:15
In order to keep our Adult Int/Adv Open Classes the right size to properly
social distancing we are only offering open classes Mondays and Fridays.
These classes are available as drop ins, no registration required.
Classes Monday-Friday are also offered on ZOOM.

This emphasis is useful whether one is pursuing a professional career in dance, or trying to fulfill a lifetime dream of expressing oneself through movement. The road to achieve this can be exhilarating, mysterious, and difficult, yet extremely fulfilling.

Join Our Dance Community
Explore movement through music, develop physical and social skills, stimulate creativity and imagination with us! Increase listening, observation and re-call skills, along with increased coordination, flexibility, and spacial intelligence. Ballet is the base, but before students can execute ballet in its technical form there are many building blocks which will be introduced at this stage of their development. Before you can read novels you must first learn the alphabet!
de la DANCE CENTER’S Main Division offers strong ballet training as well as other dance forms taught by quality teachers. This division is for the dance student who wants flexibility and less requirements than our AP student.
The AP Division is our pre-professional ballet program that offers intensive ballet training combined with other necessary classes to assist in producing the all around dancer. Our high quality teachers follow a curriculum directed toward a national standard. Our AP classes are geared to the individual dancer, designing a plan for each student’s specific needs. Class training along with de la’s incomparable performance opportunities offers a big edge to our students. This division has open enrollment. Entrance to the program requires an audition placement class.
